Looking for a Few Good Sisters

I was talking to a beautiful sister. She reminded me of how much I missed my calling as a religious sister. It was still inside of me.

About 14 years ago, I guess, I was in a small order that is dying out, I got sick after two and a half years, and had to leave. They accepted sisters to an extent with disabilities and also there was no age limit, sort of.

Well, if you have a call to the religious life and you are over the typical age of 25 or even over the age of 75, you are welcome here–the Sisters of the Heart.

If you have a disability, whatever it is, you are still welcome. We will probably be all over the country, even the world, but Zoom is a good connector and that’s all you need to be able to do.

The charism is: To live without fear, embracing all people in Christ’s love, and welcoming everyone, of every age and ability, to participate in prayer, service, and community according to their gifts.. Our spirituality would be based on St. Francis .
