About

Here We Go Again!

Okay, so I went to Juarez in 2012 when I was studying to be a sister in the convent, The Sisters of the Lamb of God. They have a mission there for special needs youths and adults which is wildly awesome and has gotten even more awesome, but is not run by the Sisters of the Lamb of God anymore.

I was blessed to be able to keep a blog every day and it was religious because it wasn’t just that I was in the convent but because that’s what everything around me made me feel. “Write what you love.” My father is always telling me this.

I was going to use When in Juarez for a memoir that didn’t include so much religiosity. When I reread the blog, there were parts that I wished I could use, but they didn’t fit into the book. I’ve tried to make a novella about it (a high school student could have done better). So, now, I’m just going to write what I love, and I love this blog just the way it is; well, maybe not so much all the typos.

So, here I go again! Wish me luck.
