I write personalized notes, not just a basic Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. What can I say, I’m a writer and verbose.
It’s enjoyable for me to write these cards because I get to think about the people I am writing to; unfortunately many times I have to just b.s. my way through because I don’t know what is going on in their life.
I care about the person deeply, but I don’t know anything about them. Is that bad? Should I forget all this and save the money on cards and stamps?
In truth, I feel like a heel for my ignorance of the people on my Holiday Card List. These are friends or people I am related to closely and I have no idea what they are up to. I can get information off of Facebook sometimes, but I don’t use Facebook that much anymore.
All I know is that their blood pressure is not zero over zero, which is a very good thing because I do know they contribute a lot to their families and the world. They are definitely on the nice list and won’t get coal in their stockings.
Oh well, off to wonder who I should send cards to and which stamp to put on their envelope.
My stamp choices:
Baby Woodland Animals (so cute!)
First Continental Congress, 1774 (so important!)
Madonna and Child (so peaceful.)

How can you resist this?
A stamp for a letter costs 0.78, A sheet of 20 is $15.60. If you buy online, you have to purchase the sheets. There is no delivery fee, but there is a handling fee of $2.00.
