Some people have a hard time making semi-friends or even just acquaintances.

Many people have a hard time time making friends.

Everyone has a hard time find that diamond of a friend who cares about you so much they will say, “I love you for you.”

Unfortunately, we can all have intense friendships that last for a few months or a few years, then suddenly, for no reason, the friendship ends. It doesn’t necessarily end on a bad note, it just fades away or comes to a complete stop.

It’s normal for friendships to end because of big reasons, small reasons, and, sometimes, no clear reason at all.

When a friendship ends, it hurts, but sometimes it’s necessary, even if we don’t know the reason why. However, it means another great friendship is waiting for you, and it might be the one that lasts 32 years and then some.

Friendships are a blessing if you can find that special person who will accept you for your flaws and will answer a frantic phone call at 3:29 in the morning. They might be a touch upset, but they will never let you know.

Whatever you do, no matter how many times you have been burned by friendships, never stop looking for that truly great friend who won’t run away when you are brave enough to talk about your darkest secret.

This blog is dedicated to the friends of mine who have never run away from my darkest secret and even to those who left for no reason.
